What do I need to register?

You just need to create an Active LeagueOne profile with your name and contact information, and your player's information.  The online system will guide you through the rest!  The division your player will be in depends on their age, so be sure to check the Little League Age Chart.  We do have caps on the number of players we can hold: Tball and 5pitch can have up to 130 players on 10 teams; Minors and Majors can have up to 120 players on 10 teams.

I want my player to be on the same team as someone else.  What do I need to do?

Rose Capital East is able to place siblings on the same team, as long as they are in the same age division.  In order to make this possible, the league needs your help with putting each sibling's name on their registration form, and we will make sure they end up on the same team.  Rose Capital East is NOT able to guarantee "best friend" or carpool requests will be honored, but we can at least make everyone aware of the request.

When will I find out about my player's team?

For the Spring season, teams will be put together in the middle of February.  For the Fall season, teams will be put together in early September.  Once teams are finalized, your player's coach will reach out to you by email, phone call, or text to introduce themselves and let you more about the team.

What equipment will my player need?

Each player will need their own helmet and fielding glove.  Cleats are helpful, but tennis shoes may work.  Rose Capital East tries to provide each coach with a set of catcher gear (5pitch, Minors, and Majors).  Your player will also need a USA approved baseball bat, or you may be able to borrow one from another player on your team.

What about the uniform?

We provide each player with a uniform jersey and hat.  Your coach will let you know what color pants, socks, and belt your player will need.

Where does everything happen?

All practices and games will be held at Golden Road Park.  Your coach will tell you which field you will be on.

When are practices?

Practices will begin almost immediately after teams are finalized.  Before regular season games begin, you can expect to have 1-2 practices a week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday.  Once games begin, practices will be on Saturdays.  Your coach will be given the practice schedule and let you know when your team will practice.

When will games be?

You can expect to have 1-2 games per week.  For the Spring season, games will begin after Spring Break and will be held Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.  There will be one Opening Day Saturday with Opening Ceremonies, pictures, and games.  You can expect games to run from the middle of March to about the middle of May, depending on the number of teams.  For the Fall season, games will begin at the end of September and will run through the beginning of November, depending on the number of teams.

Is there a concession stand?

Yes!  Rose Capital East is lucky to have a great concession stand with popcorn, candy, hot dogs, nachos, and fries available most nights.  The concession stand is run by members of the Board of Directors each game day, with the help of parents just like you!  Each team is assigned one night throughout the season to help run the concession stand, which is usually split into two shifts, typically 5:30-7:30pm and 7:30-9:30pm (or whenever the last game is finished).  This is a great way to get to know others on your team, and learn more about Rose Capital East.

What happens if there is inclement weather?

Player safety is important to Rose Capital East.  Members of our Board of Directors will be in the park every game day and will make a determination on if weather will permit games to be played.  We make every effort to notify our coaches and players as soon as we are able; be sure to join our Remind for updates.

My game got postponed.  What does that mean?

Sometimes, field or weather conditions prevent games from being played.  We will get games rescheduled for the earliest possible field opening, and will notify your coach as soon as possible.
